Can a trolling motor a pontoon boat?

I am interested in buying a "family" boat – just for us to get out on the water, enjoying the sun, etc. However, a number of local places (lakes in the state) can only electric engines – no gasoline engines. In other words, a trolling motor. Of course, this is fine for a rowing boat or bass boat (for fishing), but a trolling motor push a pontoon boat through the water? Thanks! Please – boat experts alone – not just conjecture. I'm already guessing:) SMILE!

The best way to do it, is to buy a pontoon with two engines at the .. A barge moves through the water much easier than a normal boot, so you can get away with lower horsepower engines .. and theres no need for a trolling motor just work .. but if you are a Motors are allowed where more .. I feel satisfied with just one engine only trollingt … 9.9 has a good job .. You can just tilt when an electric engine more .. In some cases rare, but you may need to prop … Good Luck to remove

can I leave a jet boat in the water for 4 months?

I bought a 2003 jet boat with Mericruiser engine, I would leave in water for summer on the lake but I'm affaid Algie the building may be part of the pump motor or a ruin, is it safe or should I purchase a lift? please help

If the two cycles, I would not unless I was using it on a very regular basis – like every other day. On a two stroke engine, the engine of the sun warms and cools in the evening. When the air in the engine cylinder with a cool night, it creates a vacuum and suck the water into the open cylinder. Eventually filling the cylinder enough so you can not turn the engine. This happened to a buddy of mine. He had two engines. If he could get a start and get the boat moving, he was able to vacuum the water out and start the other engine network. I tried to start the engine with water sleeves and my water hose and the flow of the water you suppose to get was not there. I do not know what that part is called where the flow of water comes out. what may be causing this and what is needed to to fix it. I would not start until I get more info. why is this not working. Most likely causes: 1. hose / nipple clogged with insect nest – stick a thread up to see that 2 .. impeller of the pump shot. should be changed every few years anyway. causes: running the engine without supplying water to the intake, running into a lot of sand, age / dry rot from disuse 3 .. blockage in the water jacket. Most likely cause: parts of damaged water pump impeller 4 .. some (not all) outboard (not sure about Tohatsu) will not pee the thermostat and / or poppet valve sticks closed. Most likely cause: corrosion.
